| The Monroe County Historical Society publishes its newsletter, the Monroe County Historian, six times a year.
Article Submissions The Newsletter editor welcomes articles on local history of Monroe County, remarkable Monroe County genealogy, and stories of Monroe County artifacts for publication. Of special interest are history related stories originating in the many towns and townships throughout the county. Submitted text should be pre-edited by the submitter for spelling, corrections, and be of a length of 1000 words or less. The submission may be via email or snail mail and photos may be attached but should be less than 50K in size. Submissions may be edited to fit the available space. Send via email or type and regular mail to: Monroe County History Center Data disks are accepted via regular mail if in Microsoft Word or ASCII format; e-mail or call office (812.332.2517) for other formats. |
