Monroe County Family Heritage 2007
 

The long-awaited Monroe County Family Heritage 2007 book is available in the Museum Store, just in time for holiday giving. This   soft-cover book of 306 pages includes the history of almost 150 families, an all-name index, plus many photographs and special articles by Allison Lendman, “The Lure of the Courthouse Fish,” and by Glenda Murray, “A Brief History of Monroe County.”

The Historical Society owes a debt of gratitude to everyone who helped with this project during the past three years, especially publication coordinator, Liz Knapp; editor Emily Heinlen; and proofreaders  Allison Lendman and Dot Spore. This is a major accomplishment.
