A spider skillet or
pot is a type of cookware that has three legs protruding from the
bottom and is typically made out of cast iron. The legs on the spider can
vary in length, angle, and whether they are straight or bent, and
allowed the spider to be set right over the hot coals –
creating a more even heat distribution.
