Hours:

Tuesday-Saturday 10am – 4pm (The History Center is closed to the public on Sundays and Mondays)

The Research Library will be closed February 22nd and 23rd.

Parking:

Free parking is available for three hours at any of the metered spaces in the lot located on the corner of 6th and Lincoln Streets (behind the History Center). The rate in this lot is $0.50 an hour after the first three hours.

On-street parking is available at a metered rate of $1.00 an hour. The on-street meters take quarters or credit/debit cards for a $0.30 additional fee per use.

 

Public transportation information.

 

Admission Fees:

Admission to the 2nd Floor Museum is free to members and their guest. The first floor of the History Center, where the Research Library is located, is free.

For non-members, see below:

Adults: $2

Children 6-17: $1

Children 5 and under: free

 

Bad Weather Closing:

If the Monroe County Schools (MCCSC) are closed the Museum will ALSO be closed.  If the Monroe County Schools are on a 2 hour delay we will open at our regular time.  Please check your local radio and/or TV station for more information.  Also we will post on our social media pages:  Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
