42 years and Counting!
The annual Garage Sale is our biggest fundraiser every year. Powered by the dedicated work of volunteers, the second weekend in June is quite an exciting time. From antiques to household items, there is sure to be something for everyone. All items are donated from the public and proceeds support the artifact preservation, exhibits, and programs at the Monroe County History Center.
June 2023 Dates:
June 7 is an early access day for current Cook employees & active MCHC members.
June 9 & 10, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Throughout the year, you can shop select items from the Garage Sale Extravaganza. Sold on the first floor of the History Center, these items are changed seasonally.
Sue Sue’s Boutique is named in memory of Sue Sheldon, a dedicated volunteer who passed in 2019.
