Garage Sale shoppers during the 2018 sale

The annual Garage Sale is our biggest fundraiser every year. Powered by the dedicated work of volunteers, the third weekend in June is quite an exciting time. From antiques to household items, there is sure to be something for everyone. All items are donated from the public and proceeds support the artifact preservation, exhibits, and programs at the Monroe County History Center.

2020 Dates:*
October 2 & 3 for Cook employees and MCHC members early access

October 16 & October 17 for the public with timed ticketed entry – valid for 1 car, maximum 2 passengers; limit 1 ticket

*Subject to CDC and Monroe County Health Department recommendations in order to stay safe.

*Please note this year’s access to the sale will be limited to ensure that all of our shoppers, volunteers, and staff remain safe so we can not guarantee entrance on the early access days.

For anyone unable to make it in person to the sale, there are also some select items available for purchase via eBay.
