41 years and Counting!

Shoppers at the 2020 Garage Sale.

The annual Garage Sale is our biggest fundraiser every year. Powered by the dedicated work of volunteers, the second weekend in June is quite an exciting time. From antiques to household items, there is sure to be something for everyone. All items are donated from the public and proceeds support the artifact preservation, exhibits, and programs at the Monroe County History Center.

2022 Dates:

June 10 & 11, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

MCHC members receive an early access day to the sale!

For anyone unable to make it in person to the sale, there are also some select items available for purchase via eBay.

Annual Holiday Sale

Volunteers restock the Holiday Sale regularly so shoppers can find new treasures.

From November to early January, the annual Holiday Sale can be found at the History Center at 202 E 6th Street. A great opportunity to find new decorations or the perfect gift for a loved one. The annual Holiday Sale is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in the winter season.

Because of our bonus sale in November, only select giftable items will be available for purchase at the History Center. We hope to see you on November 6!
